There are many facets to building and maintaining a community well. Partnering with the leaders of each community we intend to establish committees that will take ownership of each site created. Empowering these communities with the tools and resources that will promote cohesion and sustainability.

The cost to bring safe drinking water to Haiti can vary depending on the type of system, geography and available resources. We anticipate that the cost of a project can range between $8,000 and $12,000.
Let's look at a $10,000 project when the cost is broken down by population and benefit over time. Example: In a village of 1,000 people, over the course of 20 years the cost is equivalent to:
-$10 per person for the entire project
With more than 10 million people in Haiti, it's devastating to know that half of the population still doesn't have access to clean water. Once we learned that Haiti has the highest infant mortality rate in the western hemisphere, we knew that we needed to be the solution.
With your help we can increase access to safe drinking water by creating community-driven solutions.
Investing in the solution isn't solely a monetary matter. We must also provide training to the community members focusing on topics such as sanitation, hygiene and self-reliance.
